for Dubuque Families This Holiday Season!
As the holiday season approaches, we're celebrating what makes our community special: generosity, creativity, and the connections we share. This November, The Crow's Nest Tattoo & Body Piercing Studio is bringing back our annual holiday food drive with our biggest goal yet, collecting 5,000 pounds of food for local families in need.
We're also sharing seasonal piercing advice, beautiful original tattoo designs from our artists, and opportunities to get a head start on holiday gifting.
There's plenty happening at The Crow's Nest this season, and we're excited to share it with you.

Help Us Reach 5,000 Pounds of Food
This holiday season, The Crow's Nest Tattoo & Body Piercing Studio is collecting nonperishable food for Dubuque Food Pantry. Every donation helps support local families facing food insecurity.
How to Participate
1. Collect 15 unopened, nonperishable food items.
2. Bring your donation to The Crow's Nest between November 1 and December 19.
3. Receive one $25 promotional gift card for every 15 items donated, with a limit of four cards per person.

Keep one $25 promotional gift card for yourself and spread the holiday spirit by gifting any additional cards to friends or family this Christmas!
Promotional Gift Card Details
Each person may keep and redeem only one promotional gift card from this food drive. Additional cards must be given to other individuals. All cards will be tracked to ensure compliance.
Gift cards may only be redeemed
January 1st through March 31, 2027,
toward tattoo services of $100 or more.
They may not be combined with other promotions or discounts.
Share the extra cards with friends and family this Christmas.
Meet the Dubuque Food Pantry
Since 1974, Dubuque Food Pantry has been helping local individuals and families facing food insecurity. Guided by a mission to provide food with dignity and respect, the pantry offers more than groceries. It offers reassurance that neighbors are looking out for one another.
For more than 11 years, The Crow's Nest Tattoo & Body Piercing Studio has been proud to support this important work.
Through our holiday food drives and the generosity of our clients, staff, and community, we've seen firsthand what happens when people come together to help their neighbors.
This year, we're continuing that tradition with our most ambitious goal yet:
collecting 5,000 pounds of food.
To everyone who has donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word over the years, thank you. Your kindness is what makes this tradition possible.

Summer Piercings Start in Winter
Now Is the Time for Navel & Nipple Piercings!
Winter is the best time to get a head start on your summer piercings!
Navel and nipple piercings can take 9–12 months or longer to fully heal. Getting started now gives your body valuable healing time before swimming pools, lake days, vacations, and swimsuit season arrive.
Students & Athletes: Planning any new piercing?
Consider your sports schedule before booking. Healing piercings require jewelry to remain in place, so choosing a time when your sport won't require jewelry removal is essential.
Parents, do you have a child age 15 or older considering a navel piercing? Our professional piercers are happy to discuss eligibility, placement, and what to expect.
Our experienced piercing team will guide you through everything you need to know, including clothing considerations, healing expectations, and proper aftercare.

How to Collect Your Flash
Found a piece you'd love to add to your collection? Here's how to make it yours!
1. Choose Your Artwork. Select your favorite flash design and make note of the artist's name and design letter.
2. Contact Our Studio. Use our tattoo inquiry form, select the participating artist, and include the flash design letter in your message.
3. Secure Your Appointment. Book your tattoo and pay your deposit within seven days of this newsletter's release to qualify for the promotion.
4. Enjoy Your Gift! Receive a $25 Crow's Nest gift card with your qualifying flash tattoo. Keep it for yourself or share it with someone special!
A Few Important Details
Appointments are scheduled according to each artist's availability and do not need to take place within the seven-day promotional window. The $25 gift card cannot be applied toward the qualifying tattoo.
